Services / Testing and Evaluation

The BSPA Lab has over 7 years of experience in biometric system testing and evaluation, including test design, approval of Institutional Review Board protocols, pilot testing, subject recruitment, test management, and reporting. The BSPA Lab offers applied research and evaluation services aimed at industry and government to overcome technological hurdles in operation and selection of biometric systems. We work with our clients to protect each client’s unique intellectual property, providing guidance and recommendations throughout the process. Our process is simple, there are three easy steps from initiation to completion.

process1
Requirements Analysis

During this stage we will work closely with prospective clients to identify their needs and generate a statement of work that is acceptable to all involved. This will involve identifying which of our services will be best suited for the client, identifying expertise required from our network of subject matter experts, and finalizing budgets. The contracting office at Purdue University will interface with the client to process all legal and contractual details.

process2

Establish Collaborative Workspace and Project Execution

Once project is approved by the contracting office, we establish a secure collaborative workspace for the clients. We currently use Basecamp from 37Signals. This collaborative workspace is used for project management and providing real time updates to clients. If the project requires monitoring of the system during the project execution, we also have the capability of providing that capability.

process3

Delivery of Report

Upon completion of project, we will deliver a report outlining the protocol, analysis and recommendations in accordance with the statement of work. The delivery of the report and acceptance of the report will mark the end of the project.
