This class covers the emerging technologies that relate to automatic identification and data capture. Technologies covered in this class include biometrics (fingerprint recognition, iris recognition, face recognition, etc.), radio frequency identification, card technologies, and bar codes. The course is offered both online (through Purdue University Statewide sites), as well as in person on the WL campus.
